Alana De La Garza has established herself as a household name in the world of television. De La Garza, a Mexican American father and an Irish American mother, were both born in Columbus Ohio on June 26 the 26th of June, 1976. Soon enough she was relocating to Texas where she began pursuing her career in physical therapy within the University of Texas. De La Garza did not remain in Texas for very long, and she soon made the move in Orlando Florida, where she took on a number of acting roles, including independent local films and commercials. Despite the small parts she was soon able to discover her love in acting. After moving into New York and in 2001 she scored her first stage role in the daytime soap show All My Children as Rosa Santos. Through the early part of 2000, she acted small roles in JAG Las Vegas and Two and a Half Men. The role she landed was in the year 2004 on the short comedy The Mountain.
